Region Stockholm selects AST Medical for urine drainage products
Region Stockholm in Sweden has chosen AST Medical as a supplier of urine drainage products under a two-year agreement covering seven product references and an estimated annual volume of more than 660,000 units.
The agreement includes non-drainable urine collection bags in capacities of 1,500 ml and 2,000 ml, available with different tube lengths and packaging options, alongside reusable bed-mounted bag hangers.
Different bag capacities and tube lengths accommodate a range of patient needs and care settings, supporting practical urine collection and handling in hospitals and other healthcare environments.
The agreement takes effect on 31 May 2026 and runs until 31 May 2028, representing an estimated total volume of more than 1.3 million units over the contract period.
