AstMed expands surgical consumables portfolio with new Region Blekinge agreement
From surgical procedure kits and dressing sets to protective clothing and everyday clinical supplies, AstMed has secured a new agreement covering a broad range of surgical consumables for Region Blekinge in Sweden.
The agreement includes 19 product references, with a combined estimated annual volume of approximately 499,000 units. The range covers universal procedure kits, specialised kits for paediatric and ENT surgery, dressing sets, sterile bowls and bowl sets with dressing forceps, protective gowns and warming jackets in five sizes.
Additional products include nail brushes, surgical marking pens and cotton swabs in sterile and non-sterile versions.
The agreement took effect on 1 November 2026 and runs until 31 October 2028.
Together, these products support different stages of surgical preparation and clinical procedures, from setting up sterile instruments to ensuring the availability of essential protective clothing and consumables.
