AST Medical to supply enteral nutrition products to Region Skåne
AST Medical has been awarded an agreement with Region Skåne in Sweden for the supply of consumables used in enteral nutrition.
The product range includes reusable 60 ml ENFit syringes, Nasogas tubes in two sizes and DEHP-free enteral feeding bags with capacities of 500 ml and 1,000 ml. Together, the five product references represent an estimated annual volume of approximately 53,000 units.
Enteral nutrition products are used to deliver nutrition through the gastrointestinal tract when patients are unable to meet their nutritional needs through normal eating. Products such as feeding tubes, syringes and collection bags form part of the equipment used in these procedures.
The agreement takes effect on 1 May 2026 and runs for an initial two years, with the option of up to two additional years.
The agreement adds to our portfolio of specialised medical consumables supplied to Swedish healthcare providers.
